1. Next Gen of SDP Services. These terms (“Next Gen of SDP Terms”) are Service Terms for the purposes of the Agreement, which supplement the General Terms and govern User’s use of the Next Gen of SDP Services. Capitalized terms that are not defined in these Next Gen of SDP Terms have the same meanings given to them in the General Terms. The Next Gen of SDP Services are Preview Services.
2. Use of Next Gen of SDP Services.
2.1 User’s Obligations. To use the Next Gen of SDP Services, User must connect a supported third-party application (the “Destination”) and provide Stripe with access credentials. User must only grant Stripe the minimum permissions necessary to perform the connection. User is responsible for ensuring their choice of Destination complies with applicable Laws, including but not limited to data localization, data sovereignty and cross-border data transfer rules.
2.2 Services Restrictions. If a Customer submits a Data Subject Request (as defined in the DPA), User is responsible for deleting the applicable data from the Destination. User must not use the Next Gen of SDP Services to export, transmit, or store Protected Health Information.
2.3 Intended Use. User must not, and must not enable or allow any other party to, access or use the Next Gen of SDP Services and Stripe Data (a) for any purpose other than the purpose for which it is provided; or (b) in violation of any Law or the Agreement. If any Stripe Data is made available through the Next Gen of SDP Services, User must use that Stripe Data only for accounting and financial reporting, business analytics, or other accounting-related business purposes provided those purposes are not otherwise restricted by the General Terms, these Next Gen of SDP Terms, or any other Service Terms. Any Stripe Radar Data and Identity Services Data made available through Next Gen of SDP Services may only be used for security or fraud prevention purposes or as Stripe otherwise agrees in writing. Upon Stripe’s request, User will demonstrate its compliance with this section to Stripe’s reasonable satisfaction.
2.4 Next Gen SDP Data. User authorizes Stripe to transfer Next Gen SDP Data to a Destination. After Stripe transfers Next Gen SDP Data (a) the Destination is the custodian of the Next Gen SDP Data; and (b) Stripe is not responsible for any copy of the Next Gen SDP Data that User or the Destination makes, including how it is stored, used, or disclosed. User must have all necessary rights and consents sufficient to enable Stripe to provide, and for User to use, the Next Gen SDP Services, including to retain, reproduce, and disclose any Next Gen SDP Data. Upon Stripe’s request, User will assist Stripe in complying with its obligations under Law, which assistance may include responding to requests by data subjects or a Governmental Authority. Stripe will only transfer Next Gen SDP Data at User’s direction and according to the terms of this Agreement.
3. Stripe’s Rights.
3.1 Access Rights. User grants Stripe the right and necessary permissions to use the provided credentials to access the Destination and transmit User's Stripe Data.
3.2 Preview Fees. Stripe reserves the right to apply or change Fees, including applicable Taxes, for the Next Gen SDP Services, subject to any notice period required by Law. User’s continued use of the Next Gen of SDP Services after the Fees become effective constitutes User’s acceptance of the Fees.
4. Liability for the Destination. The Destination is a Third-Party Service. Stripe’s security and privacy obligations for the synced data cease once Stripe transmits such data to the Destination. User is responsible for the security, permissions, and access controls of the Destination. User is responsible for any fees or costs charged by the Destination in connection with using Next Gen of SDP Services.
5. Termination. Upon termination or suspension of the Next Gen of SDP Services, Stripe will cease transmitting User's Stripe Data to the Destination and will delete the access credentials provided by User. User retains responsibility for all Stripe Data previously transmitted to the Destination.
6. Disclaimer. Destinations may have their own technical limits. Stripe is not responsible if a connection fails or is delayed because the Destination’s limits are reached.
