Traxero partners with Stripe to launch its unified commerce solution in four weeks

Traxero provides the towing and roadside industry with solutions for dispatch management, fleet tracking, customer service, and more. Its software is used by thousands of towing companies across the United States to effectively manage their business operations. Integrated payments has always been an important part of Traxero’s product offering, but its previous payments provider couldn’t offer customers real-time visibility into payments transactions and refunds. After switching to Stripe, Traxero built a unified commerce solution in under a month, unlocking easy in-person payments for its customers, and setting the business up for sustained future growth.

Challenge

Traxero is the leader in towing and roadside service software solutions, and helping its customers run their businesses and increase profitability is critical, especially when it comes to getting paid. Traxero’s customers demand a simple payments experience and access to real-time insights, especially those related to payments and revenue. However, Traxero faced challenges with its previous payments provider: Many customers complained about reliability, lack of visibility into transactions and refunds, and its inability to accept payments online and in-person using a single solution.

Traxero wanted to deliver a payments solution to its customers without delay—but integrating a new payments solution, investing time and resources into building merchant dashboards, and rolling out an in-person commerce solution was going to be a challenge. Plus, with Traxero pushing to grow its business, it had to find a payments solution that was fast, easy, and reliable while maintaining a strong customer support experience.

Solution

Traxero chose Stripe Connect to power its payments solution, which makes it easier for its customers to accept and manage payments from a single platform. By combining Stripe Terminal with Connect, Traxero created a powerful, unified commerce solution for its customers. With Connect and Terminal, Traxero customers can now accept in-person credit card payments using Stripe readers while seamlessly managing their entire payments business–including processing transactions, refunds, and disputes–with Stripe’s hosted Dashboards.

Results

Traxero needed to upgrade its payments infrastructure and provide real-time payments insights, but it faced tight resources and time constraints. By integrating with Stripe, Traxero was able to replace its previous payments platform and launch a new unified commerce payments solution quickly and easily while keeping its customers happy.

Four weeks to build and launch a new in-person payments experience with Stripe Terminal

Traxero replaced its old payments infrastructure and launched its new payments solution, TowPay, in four weeks before an important industry conference. With the help of Stripe’s Professional Services team, which provides implementation and post-launch services to help customers maximize long-term value, Traxero was able to integrate TowPay faster and set them up for future success.
