New ways for fintechs to move money and expand globally

Many of the world’s leading fintechs use Stripe to build and scale, including 32 of the Forbes Fintech 50 (and counting). As these businesses expand into new markets, they need to deliver the same fast, reliable experience everywhere while supporting local payment methods, navigating local compliance requirements, and integrating new banking partners.

We’re introducing three updates to help fintechs launch products and grow internationally more easily: simpler payout management with Stripe Global Payouts, support for stablecoin cards in more countries, and unified APIs for building global financial products.

Here’s what’s new.

Send payouts to recipients in more than 160 markets

We’ve expanded Global Payouts to more markets and made it easier to set up and manage. Businesses can now send instant stablecoin payouts to recipients in 160 markets and traditional currency payouts to recipients in more than 100, directly from the Stripe Dashboard.

Fintechs can also use Global Payouts programmatically—by embedding hosted forms or integrating with flexible APIs—to enable use cases like loan disbursements, remittances, investment withdrawals, and neobank cash-outs within their products. Turo, for example, uses Global Payouts to send claims payments. The company has processed over $160 million, with a 99.5% payout success rate.

Issue stablecoin cards in more countries

Stripe is launching stablecoin card issuing in 27 EU countries, bringing availability to more than 65 countries worldwide. We plan to expand to 100 countries by the end of 2026. With stablecoin cards on Stripe Issuing, fintechs can offer cards that draw from stablecoin balances held in a custodial wallet, noncustodial wallet, or Stripe financial account. When cardholders make a purchase, Stripe automatically converts their stablecoins into the local currency at the point of sale; merchants can accept these payments just like a traditional card payment.

Fintechs can use Issuing to launch a global stablecoin card program that works across markets with one integration, rather than connecting separate providers for card issuing, currency conversion, KYC and KYB verification, fraud management, and customer support.

Stripe Issuing already powers more than 400 million cards worldwide across commercial and consumer card programs. Stablecoin cards extend that infrastructure to fintechs and platforms building with stablecoins, enabling them to scale globally and reach a larger customer base.

Add financial capabilities with a unified stack

Stripe Treasury is the building block that connects business earnings with the tools to manage and move money.

Stripe Treasury allows businesses to settle Stripe earnings, hold funds, convert currencies, spend with cards, and send outbound payments. Fintechs can also bring these same capabilities to their customers by embedding Treasury’s financial tools and services into their platforms.

Stripe Treasury, Global Payouts, and Issuing are all part of Stripe’s unified stack for fintechs, meaning they easily integrate with one another and KYC information can be shared, reducing compliance work and additional user verification steps. They are also compatible with Open Standard’s OUSD stablecoin and Tempo’s blockchain, helping businesses access the benefits of stablecoins while still being interoperable with fiat infrastructure.

Grow your business on Stripe

Over 1,500 fintechs on Stripe serve customers in more than 200 countries and territories. With Stripe’s unified stack, they don’t need to integrate and manage multiple vendors. Instead, they can use a single integration to build global financial products that support money movement, storage, and payment use cases while they continue to expand across markets.
