About the team

Stripe is expanding its Global Product Sales team to accelerate the adoption of Adaptive Pricing and Managed Payments across ANZ. Adaptive Pricing helps businesses optimise local currency presentment and pricing as they expand internationally. Stripe Managed Payments, Stripe’s Merchant of Record solution, enables businesses to sell digital products globally while Stripe manages complexities including global tax, fraud prevention, dispute management, and transaction-related customer support. Stripe’s Product Sales team is at the forefront of driving revenue and growth.

Product Sales combines deep product knowledge, sales expertise, and a user-first approach to drive growth. The team also brings customer feedback and market insight into Stripe’s product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive for Adaptive Pricing and Managed Payments, you will drive adoption and revenue growth across ANZ. You will lead business and technical conversations with prospects and customers, progress complex deals, and help develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for both products. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, and other GTM teams to solve customer needs, share market insights, and build repeatable sales playbooks. We are looking for an analytical self-starter who can operate effectively as these products continue to scale.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue, product adoption, and new customer acquisition across ANZ using MEDDIC sales methodology.
Establish and maintain a consistent co-selling rhythm with Core sales teams and cross-functional partners to identify, progress, and close opportunities.
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and lead complex customer discussions.
Serve as a subject-matter expert on Adaptive Pricing, Managed Payments and cross-border selling.
Develop a strong understanding of customer needs, competitors, and the market.
Partner with Product and Engineering to inform Stripe’s product roadmap through customer feedback.
Lead opportunities from discovery through negotiation and close.
Collaborate across Stripe to develop solutions that meets user needs.

Minimum requirements

6+ years of customer facing experience at a leading technology or payments company and a track record of top performance
Experience building trusted advisor relationships with senior business leaders
Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with cross-functional business partners
Self-starter capable of operating independently to drive meaningful business results
Enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to understand complex technical and product-led requirements and craft solutions across multiple stakeholders
Proven experience to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and changing requirements

In-office expectations

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.

Pay and benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is A$306,500 - A$459,700. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
