Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Corporate Security Systems and Infrastructure (CSI) team safeguards Stripe’s people, offices, and operations by designing, delivering, and maintaining secure infrastructure across our global workplace portfolio. We take an intelligence-led, risk-based approach and partner closely with Workplace, IT, Security Operations, Legal, and external vendors to build reliable, scalable physical security systems and transition them to our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) for ongoing monitoring and support.

What you’ll do

As a Corporate Security Infrastructure Project Manager, you will lead the security infrastructure workstream for new offices, expansions, relocations, and major workplace upgrades, with an initial focus on Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and support for global projects as needed. You will manage projects from early site assessment and design through installation, testing, commissioning, and operational handover.

You will be accountable for scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder alignment across a portfolio of concurrent projects. In addition to delivering individual projects, you will strengthen the CSI program by improving standards, documentation, vendor performance, reporting, and repeatable project management processes. You will work through ambiguity, surface decisions early, and communicate clearly with technical teams, business partners, vendors, and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of security infrastructure for office construction and expansion projects, from site assessment and requirements definition through design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Lead requests for proposals (RFPs) for security installations, including defining scope and requirements, coordinating bidders, reviewing submissions, evaluating proposals with relevant stakeholders, and supporting vendor selection recommendations.
  • Own project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, decisions, and change control; provide clear, outcome-focused reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Coordinate security designs and technical requirements with Workplace, IT, Security Operations, Legal, architects, general contractors, landlords, and other project partners.
  • Review design drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and implementation plans to ensure alignment with CSI standards and local requirements.
  • Manage security integrators, consultants, and contractors, including statements of work, delivery milestones, quality expectations, service levels, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee system installation, acceptance testing, commissioning, punch-list resolution, documentation, and first-day-of-business readiness.
  • Ensure completed projects are smoothly handed over to the GSOC and support teams, with accurate system records, operating procedures, training, and ownership established.
  • Maintain and improve global construction standards, technical specifications, project templates, runbooks, and closeout documentation.
  • Develop and track project health metrics, vendor KPIs, budget forecasts, and lessons learned; use insights to improve delivery quality, predictability, and cost efficiency.
  • Support new market and site evaluations by identifying security risks, infrastructure constraints, integration needs, and mitigation options.
  • Support the security repair and maintenance program, with a focus on the EMEA region, collaborating with regional teams to triage, track, and resolve security system and hardware issues.
  • Partner with CSI engineers and program leadership to prioritize work, resolve cross-project dependencies, and scale consistent processes across the portfolio.
  • Travel up to 25%, including international travel, to support site assessments, project milestones, commissioning, and handover.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience delivering complex physical security, workplace technology, low-voltage, construction, or similarly technical infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects across the full lifecycle, with ownership of scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery among technical teams, business partners, design and construction teams, vendors, and senior leaders.
  • Strong vendor and contractor management skills, including defining requirements, managing contracts or statements of work, tracking delivery, and addressing performance issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate technical details into clear decisions, risks, tradeoffs, and next steps for different audiences.
  • Strong judgment and structured problem-solving skills; able to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, anticipate issues, and drive timely decisions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to accurate documentation, standards, and operational handoffs.
  • Experience establishing project management processes, tracking performance metrics, and applying lessons learned to improve future delivery.
  • Working knowledge of physical security systems such as access control, video management, intrusion detection, intercoms, low-voltage infrastructure, and door hardware.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25%.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience delivering security infrastructure for offices in multiple countries or regions, particularly in EMEA.
  • Experience with Genetec Security Center, including Synergis, Omnicast, Security Center SaaS, or Stratocast; active Genetec certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with system integrations, networking fundamentals, APIs, webhooks, or cloud-managed security technologies.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, vendor KPIs, SLAs, and portfolio-level reporting.
  • Experience using project management and workflow tools such as Jira and Smartsheet.
  • Experience reviewing and marking up construction and security design documentation using Bluebeam Revu or a similar PDF design-review tool, along with knowledge of commissioning practices and relevant local codes or regulatory requirements.
  • A bachelor’s degree in project management, construction management, security management, information technology, engineering, or a related field; or a relevant professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, ASIS PSP/CPP, or SIA CSPM.
  • Ability to select and use appropriate AI tools to improve work, while critically evaluating and refining outputs for accuracy and quality.

Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.
