## Who we are

### About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

### About the team

As a platform company powering businesses all over the world, Stripe processes payments, runs marketplaces, and detects fraud, helping entrepreneurs start an internet business from anywhere in the world. Commerce Systems provides a central entry point for Stripe teams to monetize products in global markets. We build platforms and services to define and manage pricing, calculate and collect Stripe’s revenue, and empower Stripe and our users to understand and manage revenue and costs. We work on customer-facing experiences, internal platforms, and data pipelines to empower Accounting, Finance, Strategy, Sales, and Stripe’s Products to drive business value across the entire user and product lifecycle.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a seasoned technical leader to lead a team within the Commerce Systems organization. As the leader in Commerce Systems, your goals will include increasing the self-serve capabilities of the billing platform to accelerate product development across Stripe’s product suite; launching new pricing and monetization capabilities for our product and sales teams; ensuring the rigor, accuracy, and predictability of billing outcomes; and enabling our partners in finance, strategy, and accounting to deeply understand Stripe’s business performance. You’ll work with leaders across product, engineering, sales, and many of our back office functions - finance and strategy, accounting, tax, and compliance - to influence strategy across the company.

Commerce Systems is a core engine powering many of Stripe’s biggest bets, from shipping new products faster to redefining our commercial strategy. The right engineering leadership will enable Stripe to scale more quickly and more reliably as our business accelerates. If that sounds exciting, we’d love to speak with you.
