People Analytics Analyst & Business Partner

Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The mission of the People Analytics team is to improve Stripe’s performance by collecting data, measuring critical constructs, and generating insights that help Stripe attract, develop, and retain our most important asset: our Stripes.

We are a team with diverse backgrounds across consulting, HR, and data-focused disciplines who are curious, passionate, and committed to using science and data to deliver high-value, precise outputs to our users.

What you’ll do

This role sits at the intersection of analytics and business partnership in equal measure. You will serve as the People Analytics Analyst and Business Partner to the People Partners supporting Stripe's International organization, supporting a group of People Partners who look after our global sites across Core, Tech, and GTM functions. As the sole People Analytics team member based in Europe, you will be the first point of contact for International stakeholders and will need to operate with confidence and autonomy in that capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary analytics partner and single point of contact for People Partners and senior business leaders supporting Stripe's International organization
  • Develop and present comprehensive analyses that shape how leaders understand and act on their organizations, including ad hoc requests requiring urgency and clear communication
  • Design, build, and maintain analytics products and self-service tooling through Visier and AI-powered solutions
  • Lead backend Visier platform administration including metric and dimension configuration, data hygiene, security, and report design governance
  • Partner with data engineering to identify and execute improvements to our workforce data ecosystem
  • Collaborate across People Research and Insights, People Partners, and the Business to identify and deliver the highest-impact work

Who you are

We’re looking for an analytics analyst and business partner who will help us in our ongoing journey to build a world class People Analytics team and improve the overall employee experience and productivity of our Stripes. You are someone who is curious, has an eye towards craftsmanship and enjoys working in a very fast-paced environment.  Through your work, you will likely need to partner closely with our People Research & Insights team, People Partners, People Org teams, and the Business to identify opportunities for greatest impact - then deliver value through creative problem-solving, actionable insights, and effective people practices. Examples of projects this individual may lead include Org health analysis, team size and spans, talent density, recruiting productivity, and geo strategies.

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, people analytics, or a related analytical role (inside or outside of HR)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a business partner capacity, working directly with senior stakeholders as a single point of contact
  • Strong data visualization and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear narratives for a range of audiences including senior leaders
  • Working knowledge of Visier or a comparable BI platform; Visier experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience using AI platforms such as those from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google to develop tooling and accelerate analytical workflows
  • Experience with human capital benchmarking and target setting
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, competing priorities, and delivering high-quality work at pace

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting international or multi-site organizations
  • Experience across the full analytics project lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment
  • A bias toward automation, self-service enablement, and building for scale
  • Experience with a scripting language such as Python or R
  • Current on best practices, research, and case studies in people analytics and workforce measurement
  • You can bring structure to ambiguity

In-office expectations

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.

Pay and benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €89,600 - €134,400. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicant’s location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends.
