Web Producer, Growth

Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Design team works across most projects at Stripe—from our brand standards to campaigns, events, digital products, and even printed publications. And since Stripe’s main audience is other people who build products, we agonize over and take pride in crafting user-friendly and user-focused experiences.

The Web Presence & Platform (WPP) team is responsible for Stripe.com and our other digital, consumer facing properties. We are a group of interactive designers, front-end specialists, web strategists, platform engineers, and every skill set in-between. We design and build what is, for many, their first impression of Stripe. We want to make every pixel count, we want it to be enthralling, and we want to help other Stripes seamlessly benefit from our systematic work.

What you’ll do

Producers at Stripe demonstrate passion for great design and flawless execution. They’re experts in expanding, evolving, defining, and documenting flexible systems and processes that achieve bar-raising quality and consistency for stripe.com and other Stripe-owned platforms. The ideal candidate excels at keeping the work on track while maintaining (and raising) the quality bar. They offer options and tradeoffs, crisply articulate decisions, iterate quickly, and collaborate seamlessly with cross functional partners, designers, engineers, and more.

We’re looking for a Producer with experience in managing quick-moving roadmaps, rapid experimentation and learning, and constant prioritization of resources to join our team & run the day to day activities of our acquisition focused teams. You would be joining a team focused on iterating and improving beautiful and engaging web experiences that gives our users the answers and information they need to choose one or more of Stripe’s products.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Reimagine Inbound and Acquisition teams. These teams focus on rethinking the inbound experience to enhance user experience (UX) for both self-serve and sold funnels
  • Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to develop, pitch, and execute engaging web experience experiments, optimizations, and enhancements aimed at improving user understanding and engagement with Stripe
  • Identify and proactively mitigate project risks, escalating issues to the Production Manager when necessary
  • Maintain accurate project management systems, including timelines, budgets, and task tracking, to ensure project status is always clear to the team
  • Develop and nurture strong stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates on project status and seeking input from other teams to ensure project success
  • Continuously improve team processes and methodologies by implementing industry best practices and collaborating with other teams to advance overall and Growth specific OKRs

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • You bring a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in integrated production for tech-driven companies or agencies
  • You bring a Producer mindset, a hybrid of Project Management and Product Management, with a focus on both outcomes and outputs, under one collective vision
  • You excel at conceptualizing and executing compelling web experiences that drive new user acquisition or prompt engagement with Sales via Stripe.com
  • Your strategic planning abilities are robust, enabling you to develop roadmaps that not only align with company values but also propel us closer to our overarching goals
  • You bring a wealth of experience in managing teams that thrive on rapid iteration, continuous learning, and the swift deployment of changes, all of which directly impact the company’s business via Stripe.com

Preferred qualifications

  • You're adept at empowering cross-functional teams to cultivate an experimentation culture grounded in data-informed hypotheses and decision-making processes
  • You have a proven track record of leading experiments from ideation through to completion, driving impactful outcomes along the way
  • Collaboration comes naturally to you, especially when it involves identifying and acting upon optimization opportunities alongside cross-functional teams
  • Your background includes hands-on involvement with teams responsible for growth and marketing funnel strategies, emphasizing a commitment to rapid and continuous experimentation aimed at conversion
  • You possess exceptional relationship-building skills, enabling you to effectively partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to achieve project goals
  • Your approach to work is characterized by a willingness to take creative risks, always prioritizing a user-first mindset to strike a balance between speed, quality, and meticulously crafted outcomes
  • Communication is one of your strengths, as you're adept at effectively conveying work progress, processes, and decisions to team members and stakeholders while actively seeking and integrating feedback
  • You thrive in collaborative environments, where you contribute seamlessly to fostering a culture of learning and growth among all team members
  • Highly organized and with a keen eye for detail, you bring excellent presentation and communication skills to the table, coupled with a genuine passion for achieving perfection

Hybrid work at Stripe

This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).

Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently or plan to live.

Pay and benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is C$114,000 - C$171,000. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicant’s location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends.
