Our Global Sales team is hiring a Payments Product Specialist Account Executive focused on Adaptive Pricing. Payments are at the core of Stripe’s business. In a global business environment, payments are complex and require deep enterprise to drive strategic conversations with our users.

This Account Executive will drive conversion sales conversations covering the Optimized Checkout Suite with a focus on the Adaptive Pricing capability within the Payment Element. With this capability Stripe is innovating to help global businesses with their international presentment and conversion. This team will supplement efforts by core teams and shift from a pull to a push model targeting strategic accounts that can drive maximum value for users.

What you’ll do

As a Payment Product Specialist at Stripe, you will use your sales and product expertise to help drive growth of Stripe’s payment offerings with both new and existing customers. You will collaborate with product, engineering and marketing teams to develop deep product and industry knowledge and drive strategic deals. You will be instrumental in leading in depth product discussions with existing and prospective customers – and building and executing against our go to market strategy for new products.

You’re a natural people person who is as comfortable working with clients as with internal stakeholders (including executives). You are used to building value in competitive situations and enjoy working on products that require deep product understanding, combined with technical knowledge. You’re excited to become an expert and to share your knowledge. You’re an energized and organized self-starter. You’re highly analytical and you have a track record for improving the processes and organizations around you.

Responsibilities

  • In a core sales role, you’ll be accountable for driving revenue, increasing attach rates, and new client acquisition at high rates of growth.
  • Lead discussions with our largest existing and prospective customers
  • Contribute to the development of go-to-market playbooks alongside product, marketing, sales, and technical services stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization to help shape Stripe’s products and solutions to meet customer needs
  • Serve as both an internal and customer-facing expert on Stripe’s Payment Products with a focus on the Adaptive Pricing capability within the Payment Element
  • Gather and build on Stripe’s wide-ranging payments expertise to create product narratives supported by rigorous analysis

Minimum requirements

  • At least 10+ years of client facing experience at a leading technology, payments or management consulting firm
  • Experience presenting to senior business leaders
  • A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners
  • The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
  • A proven ability to be a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision
  • An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Hybrid work at Stripe

Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

Pay and benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is £179,400 - £269,200. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicant’s location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends.
