About the team

Global Sales Enablement is responsible for driving productivity and effectiveness across Stripe's sales organization. We are looking for a technical enablement expert who is passionate about empowering our Professional Services team. The Professional Services (ProServ) team at Stripe is responsible for accelerating the time-to-value and revenue realization for our users. We partner closely with our users to navigate technical complexity, optimize payment architectures, and drive successful implementations. This role requires strong technical expertise, a keen eye for content curation, and the ability to scale enablement at pace in a fast-moving environment. This individual is flexible, meticulous in their craft, and has a positive “can do” attitude.

What you’ll do

The Technical Enablement lead will develop and deliver world-class enablement programs that equip our Professional Services team with the deep product knowledge, technical skills, and consulting capabilities needed to accelerate time-to-value and drive revenue realization for Stripe's users. They will contribute to the global enablement strategy and act as a strategic partner to technical sales leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Executive engagement: Communicate enablement strategies, program progress, and readiness metrics clearly and concisely to senior ProServ leadership.
  • Cross-functional alignment: Collaborate with a globally distributed team across multiple time zones and serve as the crucial bridge between Product, GTM Enablement, Partners, and Professional Services leadership, ensuring all teams are aligned on enablement priorities and product readiness.
  • Consulting knowledge: Understand the role of consulting at Stripe so that you confidently build new training programs and content focused on soft skill enablement
  • Technical expertise:  Translate complex product capabilities into specialized learning paths and actionable enablement resources across Stripe’s technical landscape. Stay on the pulse of industry trends and competitive landscapes, adapting enablement priorities to maintain Stripe's technical edge.
  • Content production: Build aesthetically superb courseware and documentation alongside scalable enablement assets (e.g., technical deep-dives, playbooks, certification programs, and hands-on technical labs).
  • Curation: Orchestrate and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), including Product and Product Marketing, to curate high-impact technical content.
  • Program facilitation: Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs, ongoing training, and just-in-time learning resources to keep the Professional Services teams at the cutting edge.
  • Peer-to-peer learning: Cultivate a program of continuous peer-to-peer learning that empowers top-performing consultants to share best practices and field-tested technical solutions.
  • Performance Analysis: Identify skill and knowledge gaps, then partner cross-functionally to build innovative enablement programs that drive measurable improvements in satisfaction, productivity, and revenue generation.
  • Change Management: Be a key advocate and support for change management and best practices throughout the organization.

In-office expectations

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.

Pay and benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $172,400 - $258,600. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
