Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

As Stripe’s user base and global footprint grows dramatically, we have distinctly unique support problems resulting from both our type of scale and the type of businesses we partner with. The Stripe Delivery Center (SDC) strategy will provide operational leverage and expand Stripe’s portfolio of operational capabilities to support the scaled needs for external users and internal Stripe teams. Our support experience leverages deep understanding of our products, the financial industry and money movement, and our customers’ products and users, and requires us to invest significant resources into building this experience ourselves with talented teams of Stripes.

What you’ll do

  • Streamline Workstreams: With specialized knowledge, Financial Data Analysts are relied on to pilot and streamline large, impactful workflows that come with high risks/low standardisation, to the SDC.
  • Improve Observability: Create and maintain data pipelines and metrics to ensure accuracy and reliability, helping SDC leadership team detect issues, track process health, forecast demand and capacity, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Incident Support: Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders for incident support: perform root-cause analysis, communicate findings, drive resolution, and help establish guardrails to prevent recurrence.
  • Translate Insights into process/product enhancements: Work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive insights provided by the team, to closure.
  • Training & Documentation:

    • Provide Technical trainings - on SQL, Python & other tooling.
    • Create and maintain documentation—including trailheads, runbooks, and other process guides to improve team effectiveness and productivity.
  • Process Automation:

    • Work with the SDC team members to analyze process data to identify automation opportunities
    • Help build and maintain automated solutions by providing technical expertise and support, collaborate with reviewers and business teams for performance and load testing to ensure reliability, and resolve defects, if any before rollout.
    • Help in timely closure of projects by assisting associates with deployment on Prod & providing guidance on ship
    • Maintain/Update automations as per changes in upstream processes
  • Process Improvements & Redesign: Streamline complex workflows through TMA and redesign, identify and integrate required tooling, and update documentation to reflect reporting, process changes, and improvements

  • Escalation Point:  Serve as the point of contact for stakeholders for technical issues that the SDC needs to address.

In-office expectations

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80% in-office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.

Pay and benefits

Stripe does not yet include pay ranges in job postings in every country. Stripe strongly values pay transparency and is working toward pay transparency globally.
