About the team

The administrative business partner team works with Stripe’s leaders to support their day-to-day administrative and operational needs, while also contributing to projects that help drive the company’s strategic priorities.

What you’ll do

Stripe is seeking an eager and poised individual with a high attention to detail, strong communication skills and professional drive to support the Office of the President. This role will report directly to the Lead Administrative Business Partner to the President and be responsible for a wide range of tasks. A successful candidate will have a “no task too big, no task too small” mindset, sound judgment and have the ability to partner with leaders and individuals across the organization. Additionally, this individual should have unwavering discretion, proven experience operating in ambiguous environments and resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Offer administrative support to our President, Product & Business by managing hectic and complex calendars
  • Support extensive research and logistics for unique / high caliber offsite events
  • Travel to offices and support onsite responsibilities, as needed
  • Track, manage and reconcile expenses monthly
  • Manage end-to-end travel including planning, booking and creating itineraries in advance of domestic and international trips
  • Identify opportunities to establish new—and improve existing—administrative systems and processes
  • Own and manage ad hoc projects as needed
  • Build cross-functional relationships between departments
  • General office duties as needed

  • You are incredibly organized, with superb attention to detail and a strong ability to execute
  • You are excellent with time management and able to quickly shift tasks and priorities as needed
  • You have a knack for working across various roles and teams in a fast-paced, changing environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient
  • You communicate, perform, and react well under pressure or ambiguity
  • You enjoy optimizing processes to make them more efficient
  • You are adept at handling sensitive information and situations with care and confidence
  • You are able to anticipate and respond to the needs of others before they arise
  • You have experience in a high-growth technology startup

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous 3+ years of administrative experience at a quickly-scaling or large company

Hybrid work at Stripe

This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).

Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently or plan to live.

Pay and benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $112,700 - $169,100. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
