Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform that enables businesses, from ambitious startups to large enterprises, to accept payments, grow revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. The company's mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, which is made possible by the Infrastructure Engineering organization. This team empowers engineers to build, deploy, and manage services that meet Stripe's high standards for security, reliability, and availability. We're expanding operations in Bengaluru and growing three teams: Revenue Foundations, Financial Systems, and Core Infrastructure.
Revenue Foundations
The Revenue Foundations team is responsible for the development of systems that automate billing for Stripe users and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across global markets. They work collaboratively with other product teams at Stripe to identify ways to merge systems, resulting in cost savings of millions of dollars. It is ultimately responsible for the systems, programs, and operations that generate Stripe’s revenue and the economic models we have with our customers.
Financial Systems
The Financial Systems team sources, builds, configures, and maintains systems critical to Stripe's corporate processes. They empower mission-critical financial domains such as Accounting, Finance and Strategy, Treasury, and Tax by building platforms, data pipelines, and financial products for various use cases including accounting close and audit, financial analytics and insights, financial planning and forecasting, and financial business intelligence.
Core Infrastructure
The Core Infrastructure team is responsible for building the foundational platform for Stripe's products and services. They enable Stripe engineers to develop, launch, manage, and change services securely, reliably, and seamlessly in the application environment. The team abstracts cloud provider primitives to normalize and validate patterns and workflows where possible and partner with teams where needed, while maintaining high reliability, performance and latency guarantees at internet scale.
