What you’ll do

The Vendor Operations Manager (VOM) is an operationally rigorous leader accountable for site-level performance of our sales vendor partnerships. This role delivers sales and user outcomes by governing and enforcing performance accountability across the vendor’s talent systems, sales operations and business operations. The VOM ensures vendor leadership executes consistently against evolving company sales motions, targets and standards while driving effective change management, operational discipline and continuous improvement. In addition, this role will also lead the GSV innovation roadmap by establishing a pilot tasting lab for new sales opportunities and driving AI transformation initiatives.

 

Key Accountabilities

Site-Level Performance Ownership * Own attainment of sales quotas, conversion metrics and user outcome metrics at the site level.
* Monitor daily dashboards, forecast weekly results and act quickly to address underperformance.
* Partner with the Vendor Sales Excellence Lead to align quotas, targets and Rhythm of Business (ROB) expectations.

 

Vendor Leadership Coaching * Lead structured performance reviews with vendor leadership providing feedback and coaching on operational discipline, business outcomes and accountability.
* Strengthen vendor leadership’s ability to cascade expectations, run disciplined ROB cadences and sustain high-performing operations.
* Develop vendor capability to diagnose systemic issues, implement corrective actions and lead through change.

 

Performance Governance & Accountability * Governing and enforcing performance accountability across:
* Talent Systems: hiring, onboarding, training and performance management.
* Sales Operations: quality management, pipeline management, sales huddles, performance coaching, SMART goal setting, business reviews and quarterly planning.
* Business Operations: joint business planning, QBRs/WBRs and change management.

  • Use governance mechanisms to drive transparency, enable data-driven decisions and surface risks and trends for action.
  • Continuously align vendors to evolving company expectations and ensure they are operationally ready to adopt new motions, standards and processes.

 

Operational Excellence * Execute the ROB cadence locally in partnership with vendor leadership including pipeline reviews, forecast calls and performance reviews
* Maintain operational discipline in reporting, scheduling and quality monitoring to ensure consistent execution
* Architect and govern site-level processes for rapid issue detection, root-cause analysis and resolution to minimize business disruption.
* Leverage global systems to activate cross-functional stakeholders, share accountability for resolution and build business resiliency.
* Balance global alignment with local agility ensuring quick responses while staying consistent with global priorities and standards.
* Track resolution outcomes and feed insights back into governance mechanisms to strengthen business resiliency over time.

 

Feedback & Continuous Improvement * Capture and share frontline insights to inform sales motion design, enablement priorities and process refinements.
* Collaborate with peers across sites to share best practices, drive consistency and raise execution quality network-wide.

 

Who you are

Capabilities & Experience

  • 10+ years in vendor operations, contact center management, sales operations or program/performance management with direct accountability for site-level sales outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to govern vendor performance across talent, sales operations and business operations to drive transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Skilled at influencing and up-leveling vendor executives and managers to embed operational rigor, enforce accountability and lead high-performing teams.
  • Proficient in running structured cadences (ROB), interpreting performance data, diagnosing systemic issues and implementing targeted solutions that strengthen resiliency.
  • Effective at leveraging global systems, activating cross-functional stakeholders and guiding vendors through operational change to keep pace with evolving company standards and priorities.

Working remotely at Stripe

A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live.

Pay and benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is RM332,000 - RM498,000. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends.
