About the team

EMEA Demand Generation is a team of marketers and channel specialists that drives strategies to engage prospects and customers and generate demand for our prioritized solutions in EMEA. We partner closely with the Product Marketing, Global Campaigns, Sales Development, and Sales to bring full-funnel campaigns to life and optimize performance and business impact.

What you’ll do

We are seeking a highly motivated demand generation expert to join our marketing team to help us reach our in-region event ambitions. This is a business critical role at Stripe that will significantly impact our GTM organization and mature how we show up in the marketplace. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in digital marketing, event promotion, and cross-functional management. The ideal candidate will be able to devise and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies that align with our overall business goals, ensuring successful registration and attendance at our events.

Responsibilities

Demand Generation: Leverage digital marketing expertise to implement and execute scalable and account-list targeted (1:many ABM) tactics within a modern marketing framework.
Event Promotion: Drive registration for both in-person and online events. Experience in promoting large events with 1,000+ attendees is a plus.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies aimed at maximizing event registration and attendance, aligning with the company’s overarching business goals.
Project Management: Organize and oversee multiple event-related initiatives, across different countries, ensuring that timelines and objectives are met through careful coordination and planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with various teams including Event Marketing, Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Sales Development to foster a cohesive approach in executing event strategies both globally and locally.
Communication Skills: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to present updates to senior leadership and engage stakeholders across different departments.
Performance Analysis: Establish performance targets, measure results, and conduct in-depth analysis to identify issues based on quantitative and qualitative inputs. Use this data to inform strategic pivots and performance narratives.

Minimum requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
5 years of experience in demand generation, event marketing, or related areas.
Proficient in digital marketing strategies and tools.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent collaboration skills with a history of successful cross-functional teamwork.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in promoting large events with 1,000+ attendees
Experience in event marketing or event planning
Experience building out new digital marketing capabilities

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80% in-office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is £81,400 - £122,000. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends.
