Recruiting Program Manager

Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Recruiting Program Management Team supports Stripe’s Recruiting Team through the implementation of various projects and programs designed to optimize for the caliber and productivity of Stripe’s Recruiting organization. Responsibilities include leading high-priority projects to improve operational efficiency, driving cornerstone programmatic offerings, influencing data-driven decision-making, and guiding change management. We are looking for a talented program manager to join our team to support (1) Leadership Recruiting and (2) Centralized Recruiting Programs.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the directly responsible individual (DRI) for one centralized recruiting program, such as Recruiter Enablement, Hiring Manager Enablement, etc. As DRI:
  • Own the program’s annual goals (tracking, reporting, program-managing)
  • Provide enablement to any users of the program: recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, etc.
  • Maintain any knowledge articles about the program to ensure accuracy
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements across recruiting programs and processes to keep them as effective and efficient as possible
  • Develop calibration and assessment rubrics, training guides, and educational content for all program participants

  • Serve as the program manager supporting the Leadership Recruiting pillar. Support the Leadership Recruiting org on a variety of initiatives, including, but not limited to:

  • Work closely with Global Recruiting Lead(s) and Recruiting Managers to identify and execute high-priority initiatives

  • Successfully execute centralized recruiting programs at the local level in the pillar you support

  • Develop and lead recruiting-focused projects to support our hiring teams and leadership

  • Lead cross-functional projects by facilitating communication, coordination, planning and execution across the recruiting team and partners

  • Leverage data to define program success metrics and inform strategic decisions

  • Drive a positive candidate experience

  • Proactively share data-centric updates with stakeholders to maintain aligned decision making and build trusted partnerships

  • Lead change management efforts across our recruiting teams and partners

  • Contribute to other business-critical Recruiting initiatives as needed

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • Functional experience in recruiting
  • Experience with program, change, and project management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • A passion for building new and inclusive programs
  • Strong initiative, autonomy, critical thinking skills, and an eye for the details
  • Proven abilities to think creatively and build from scratch
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An active and data-driven approach to problem solving; you enjoy making sense of trends and using insights to improve your work and environment
  • Adaptability and a growth mindset; you can shift tasks and priorities with circumstances change

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability and willingness to attend to work matters outside normal business hours on an as-needed basis (this role supports a global team, so flexibility to adjust your working schedule to connect with counterparts in different time zones is preferable)

Hybrid work at Stripe

Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

Pay and benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $134,400 - $201,600. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
