New Payment Links features to help you sell more, faster
Payment Links lets you create a payment page that you can share with your customers in just a few clicks—no code required. More than 100,000 businesses in 40+ countries have used Payment Links to launch their business, sell through new channels, and experiment with pricing. Since launching last year, we’ve added support for subscriptions, promotion codes, free trials, tax, phone number collection, upsells, setting store policies and contact info, and customizable confirmation pages. Today, we’re adding new no-code Payment Links features to help businesses increase revenue and introducing an API to automate workflows.
We used Payment Links to acquire our first set of customers without needing to build any payments infrastructure.
With Payment Links, our operations team was able to launch a self-serve purchase flow experiment completely independently.
No-code features to help you sell more
Previously, Payment Links only allowed you to sell a single product or subscription per link and accepted only cards. Now, we’ve added features to help you increase average order value and reach more global customers.
- Support for multiple line items: Include multiple products or subscriptions on a single payment page to increase your average order size.
- Adjustable quantities: Choose whether customers can change quantity on a per-product level while setting minimum and maximum allowable amounts.
- Access to 20+ payment methods: Turn on new payment methods from the Dashboard to increase conversion for global customers. The order in which payment methods are displayed adapts to a customer’s device and location to optimize for conversion.
An API to automate operations and add new channels
One of users’ top requests for Payment Links has been the ability to create links programmatically. With the new API, you can create payment links at scale to automate previously manual operations. For example:
- Send customers cart abandonment emails with a unique payment link that includes the items that they had in their cart.
- Integrate Payment Links into your CRM to let sales reps create and share custom links with prospects directly.
- Generate unique payment links for affiliate partners to let them promote your products.
Platforms and marketplaces can also use the API to let customers generate easy-to-share links from within their own dashboards, enabling them to collect payments from different channels. For example, Swapstack uses the Payment Links API to help creators collect tips for their work by embedding links within their newsletters, posts, or live events.
Get started
You can create payment links directly from the Stripe Dashboard, use no-code platforms such as Zapier to build automated workflows, or programmatically generate your own links with the API.
