The Risk and Reward team is responsible for managing the end-to-end risk strategy for all business processing payments on Stripe. As the APAC Risk Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing Stripe’s risk management strategies across the region. You will be the subject matter expert on the regional risk landscape, including regulatory requirements and emerging trends. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams—such as sales, product, engineering, data science, compliance, and other functions—to ensure that risk initiatives are effectively implemented and aligned across the organization. Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as merchants, financial partners and regulators to strengthen our risk management practices.

The candidate would ideally have worked within the context of enabling cross-border money movement and/or embedded finance for businesses, and is knowledgeable of the regulatory & compliance requirements across the region. The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is S$264,000 - S$396,000. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
