The Financial Risk teams focus on detecting and taking action on different types of financial risk vectors that Stripe faces in processing payments for millions of businesses. For example, we work on detecting and offboarding fraudulent accounts, designing new ways to separate good businesses from malicious actors, as well as monitoring the credit risk and profitability of our merchant portfolio. We operate at the intersection of technology and finance, deploying a complex set of automated systems, including machine learning models, to efficiently manage Risk at scale with global reach.
About the role
As PM lead for Financial Risk, in particular Fraud and Credit, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for deterring Fraud and optimizing our approach to Credit Risk management. You will manage a team of exceptional product managers that are responsible for building out the end-to-end systems we use to mitigate Financial Risk and protect Stripe, while ensuring a great user experience.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $268,000 - $402,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
