Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
Service Platform enables Stripe’s engineers to build and ship products using efficient, reliable, service oriented architectures. This organization sits at the boundary between Infrastructure and Product where they engineer Stripe’s service frameworks, standard user-facing API semantics, async orchestration platforms, developer tooling, and mission critical product infrastructure (e.g. webhook fulfillment). Key priorities for this group include delivering an amazing internal developer experience, enabling Stripes to effectively leverage Infrastructure platforms, and driving systemic improvements to Stripe’s API availability.
As an Engineering Manager of Managers within the Service Platform organization, you will lead multiple teams, collaborate with infrastructure and product engineering leaders, and advance Stripe’s architecture. You will operate some of the company’s most critical services and you will collaborate with Stripe’s customers to improve their integrations to help make Stripe more reliable and performant.
