The Optimized Checkout Suite organization builds best-in-class checkout experiences that provide delightful checkout experiences for customers, while driving higher purchase conversion for merchants. As an organization, we work on Checkout, Payment Links, and Elements – each payment UI product playing a crucial part in augmenting the economic landscape of the internet.
The Buyer Experience team is on a mission to create the best experience for consumers using these payment UIs. We aim to increase product quality and conversion by enhancing the consumer-facing UI/UX of our payment surfaces. We learn through A/B testing and experimentation, and are building an ML-powered engine to turn our learnings into delightful, personalized checkout experiences.
We are looking for an engineering manager who is passionate about building polished, high performing consumer experiences and excited to use experimentation and data to improve buyer conversion across Stripe’s payment UIs.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $203,900 - $305,900. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
