The Funding team builds products which allow our users to move money into Stripe. After credit cards, we’re the number one way money moves into Stripe and are responsible for processing billions of dollars around the world; operating mission-critical services.
Our products are foundational to Stripe and enable Payments, Issuing and Connect users to top-up their Stripe balances. We support some of the largest businesses running on Stripe today and are building for the next generation. We’re shipping new APIs and products to power the future of Stripe, expanding our existing capabilities to new markets and re-engineering for increased scale and stability.
Our team collaborates across North America and the UK with primary locations in Toronto and London.
As a backend engineer, you’ll design, build and operate APIs, features and services. You’ll work within a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional partners to scope new products, support users and ship high quality products.
We’re looking for software engineers with experience building APIs and scalable distributed systems in service based architecture.
The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is £72,000 - £144,000. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
