About the team The Startup and SMB Account Executive team is a highly consultative sales team that is responsible for the acquisition and growth of Stripe’s largest and most promising Startup and SMB customers. As an Account Executive, you’ll identify new opportunities for prospects to get the most out of Stripe by quickly understanding our clients’ needs, execute scaled sales strategies to acquire new customers and drive product adoption.
The team is segmented into two sub-teams: (1) The SMB AE team, which focuses on maximizing near-term revenue for Stripe through the acquisition of proven small and medium sized businesses that are unfunded, and (2) the Funded Startup AE team, which aspires to drive long-term revenue through the acquisition of early stage, high-potential, venture backed companies.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $181,400 - $272,200. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
