As part of our continued investment in India and to meet local data storage requirements, we’re moving the servers that store India data to be located within the country. During our migration, Stripe’s core services will remain unaffected. However, some features will be impacted at the end of April 2021.
This page lists the features impacted by our upgrade efforts. We’ll keep this page updated regularly to make sure you’re informed of our progress as we work to quickly restore any disrupted services.
This is a substantive infrastructure change, placing us on the right path to support you for the long-term in India. Should you require any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team.
Payments remains unaffected with the following exception:

Radar core machine learning fraud detection remains live, along with ZIP/CVC check rules.
Radar for Fraud Teams features will be temporarily free in India until further notice. These include:
Stripe Radar & Radar for Fraud Teams will be free for India until further notice.
Sigma will be temporarily disabled in India.

API Reference remains live, but some personalized content, such as sample API responses will be unavailable until further notice.
