Postly partners with Stripe to centralize operating finances

Postly is a software company that builds tools for social media management, publishing, customer engagement, and business productivity. As its product portfolio grew, it adopted Stripe Treasury to bring operational spending into the same financial workflow as its customer revenue.

Postly, a scaling software company with global operations, uses Stripe across its software products for subscription payments. In July 2025, New York-based Postly integrated Stripe Treasury to manage its recurring operating expenses alongside its customer revenue on the Stripe platform.

A growing product portfolio brings more recurring expenses

Launched in 2021, Postly has expanded from a social media management platform into a suite of connected products for publishing. That growth also increased the number of recurring business expenses the company needs to manage.

“The main issue was fragmentation,” said Paul Onu, founder and CEO of Postly Technologies, Inc. “Revenue, payment processing, business expenses, cards, bank accounts, and transaction records can easily become spread across several platforms.”

As those expenses accumulated, Postly wanted clearer visibility into where funds were coming from and going, while reducing the number of separate platforms it used to manage them.

Treasury connects business spending with Stripe revenue

Because Postly already used Stripe Payments and Stripe Billing for subscription payments, it adopted Stripe Treasury as its operations grew more complex. Postly uses its Treasury account and Stripe card for eligible recurring expenses, including cloud infrastructure, software services, APIs, hosting, and development tools.

“Instead of creating a separate financial workflow for every new product or service, we could manage many of those expenses through the same operational system,” Onu said.

By keeping more transaction activity on Stripe, Postly can review available funds, incoming payments, and operational spending with less switching between financial platforms.

A practical operating layer for a global software business

Postly serves customers in multiple markets and relies on technology providers around the world. The Stripe card gives the company a consistent way to pay many of those digital-service expenses, as well as bills related to its global developer contractor team.

For Postly, the value of Treasury is operational: it consolidates more business spending through one account and card, reduces unnecessary transfers between platforms, and makes recurring expenses easier to identify as the company grows.

“Stripe is an incredibly good platform, especially for founders building modern digital businesses,” Onu said. “Its value goes far beyond accepting payments.”
