The Stripe Treasury (formerly Financial Accounts) Terms are modified with the addition of the following to Section 11 (Regional Terms):

Canada.

The following Regional Terms apply for Users in Canada.

1. Payment Services Provider.

Each reference to “RSP” in these Stripe Treasury (formerly Financial Accounts) Terms means Stripe Payments Canada, Ltd.

2. No CDIC Coverage.

Subject to Section 5.1 of the Regional Terms applicable to Users in Canada of the Stripe Financial Services Terms, RSP will hold the funds represented in a Financial Account in a Custodial Account and will have control over those funds. User acknowledges and agrees that RSP is not a deposit-taking institution and funds held in the Financial Account or otherwise shall not be eligible for protection by the CDIC deposit insurance scheme or any other insurance or guarantee scheme.

3. Definitions.

“User Territory” means Canada or such other jurisdictions Stripe permits in writing.
