- You authorise your bank to effect transfers from your bank account to Stripe’s bank designated bank account in accordance with such instructions as your bank may receive from Stripe and/or its bank, in the event that the net activity in your Stripe account on any day is negative or Stripe requires you to fund your Stripe account for any other reason relating to the Stripe Services Agreement. You certify that you are either an account holder or an authorised signatory on your bank account.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that your bank account can accept debit instructions and have sufficient funds to allow for debit transfers. If debit instructions are returned to Stripe for any reason, Stripe may charge you a fee pursuant to Section A.4 of the Stripe Services Agreement, in addition to any fees your bank may charge. If debit instructions are returned to Stripe because your bank account has insufficient funds, it is your responsibility to fund the bank account so that we can reprocess the debit transfer.
- This authorisation shall have effect until further notice. You agree that any notice of cancellation or variation of this authorisation given by you to your bank must be given at least 7 working days prior to the effective date. You must also give Stripe notice at the same time. If you, your bank, or Stripe cancels this authorisation, you must arrange a suitable alternative payment method. If you change your bank account you must provide Stripe with any information regarding the new account and authorisation as we deem necessary.
- If you believe there has been an error in debiting your account, you should notify Stripe promptly. If there has been an error, Stripe will arrange with your bank to adjust your bank account and notify you of the adjustment amount.
- You agree that information relating to these Electronic Direct Debit Authority Terms and Conditions will be treated in accordance with Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
