Guideless turns software workflows into AI-narrated, step-by-step video training guides to improve software documentation, onboarding, and internal knowledge retention. Since launching the company in 2025 with Stripe powering its subscription payment model, cofounders Evaldas Bieliūnas and Dovydas Remeika have grown it to more than 4,000 users in more than 35 countries.
Founded in Lithuania, Guideless now serves paying customers across a diverse set of countries, including the US, the UK, France, Hong Kong, and the UAE. With Stripe, Guideless can continue to expand its international customer base without building a custom payment stack in each new country or hiring a dedicated payments team.
“Stripe works seamlessly. We have paying customers across the globe and haven’t faced any issues,” Bieliūnas said.
Building for global customers from day one
Remeika built Guideless’s global subscription infrastructure using Stripe Billing to manage its multiplan subscription model and Stripe Checkout to give customers a self-service path from its free tier to monthly or annual paid plans.
“We have set a very high bar for our platform’s user experience, and our customers can easily self-serve worldwide with Stripe,” Bieliūnas said.
Guideless uses Stripe Checkout to give customers a seamless payment experience while reducing integration work for its small team. Checkout dynamically presents payment methods, including cards, Apple Pay, and Link, Stripe’s consumer network that enables customers to check out faster with their preferred payment method. The company also uses Adaptive Pricing, which helps increase conversion by allowing international customers to automatically view pricing and pay in their local currency. And to avoid foreign exchange fees on some of their payment volume, Guideless uses multicurrency settlement to settle some funds in USD.
Optimizing payments as Guideless grows
As Guideless began processing international payments across 35 countries, the startup worked with Stripe to identify opportunities to improve its payment setup and reduce costs. For example, the team connected a USD bank account so Guideless could settle USD payments directly rather than converting them to euros.
Guideless also participates in the Stripe Startups program, which provides expert resources and benefits to eligible early-stage companies.
“Stripe has always been so proactive and given us direct access to their people, so it’s been a big advantage for our small team,” Bieliūnas said.
More flexibility for the next stage of growth
Guideless expects its monetization model to evolve as its platform and subscriber base grows. The company plans to introduce additional subscription tiers in the future and is exploring usage-based billing with Stripe.
With Stripe, Guideless can continue growing its global business without building payment infrastructure in each new market—all while keeping its lean team focused on its product and customers.
Our partnership with Stripe has been amazing. At our stage and given our size, the level of support we get from Stripe is quite unheard of.
