These Preview Services Terms (“Preview Services Terms”), together with the Stripe Services Agreement located at https://stripe.com/legal/ssa (“Stripe Services Agreement”), govern your use of the Preview Services. Capitalized terms that are not defined in these Preview Services Terms will have the meaning given in the applicable Stripe Services Agreement (including the Link Terms). By using the Preview Services, you agree to these Preview Services Terms. If you do not want to use the Preview Services, you must discontinue your use of Link.
1. Fees.
Stripe will charge you the fees posted publicly for Link Instant Bank Payments for the Preview Services that Stripe provides you in the U.S.. Stripe may deduct fees from amounts that Stripe processes, from your Stripe Account balance, or as the Stripe Services Agreement otherwise allows. Stripe reserves the right to implement or change fees for the Preview Services and Stripe will provide you at least 30 days’ notice before the effective date of such change. If these Preview Services Terms terminate due to Stripe making the Preview Services publicly available, pricing on the Pricing Page for Link Instant Bank Payments will continue to apply to your subsequent use of the Link Instant Bank Payments Without Integration Changes.
2. Definitions.
“Link Instant Bank Payments Without Integration Changes” means a feature allowing you to accept a Link Instant Bank Payments Transaction via your existing implementation of Link for card Transactions, but excluding Link Payment Method where Stripe reports the Transaction as a card Transaction under the card brand “Link”.
“Link Instant Bank Payments” or “Instant Bank Payments” means Link Transactions that access the Automated Clearinghouse (“ACH”) network.
“Link” is as defined in the Link Terms located on or accessible from the Stripe Legal Page.
“Link Payment Method” is as defined in the Link Terms located on or accessible from the Stripe Legal Page.
“Preview,” if not otherwise defined in your Stripe Agreement, has the same meaning as "Beta" in your Stripe Agreement, meaning the product release phase “proof of concept,” “pilot,” “invite only”, “private preview”, “private developer preview”, “public preview”, “developer preview”, or a similar designation.
“Preview Services” means Link Instant Bank Payments Without Integration Changes.
“Stripe Legal Page” means https://stripe.com/legal/ssa, as updated from time to time.
“Transaction Amount” means the total amount Stripe processes for a Transaction.
3. Preview Services.
3.1. Use of Preview Services.
Your use of the Preview Services is subject to the terms of the Stripe Services Agreement and you must use the Preview Services in a manner consistent with the terms of the Stripe Services Agreement, Documentation (if applicable), and these Preview Services Terms. In addition, you will use the Preview Services in compliance with the terms that apply to Link Bank Payments in the Link Terms.
3.2 Nature of Preview Services.
By their nature, Preview Services may be feature incomplete or contain bugs. You should review your own systems and reporting, if any, related to card payment methods for different brands when using the Preview Services.
3.3 Feedback; Preview Updates.
Unless Stripe otherwise agrees in writing, your use of Preview Services is confidential, and you will provide timely Feedback (defined in the Stripe Services Agreement) on the Preview Services in response to Stripe requests. Stripe has no obligation to provide any bug fixes, error corrections, patches or service packs for, or any revisions, successors or updated versions to, the Preview Services, or any part of the Preview Services, while the Preview classification is in place (all of the foregoing, if made available by Stripe, “Preview Updates”). However, if Stripe provides or makes available a Preview Update, you must fully implement the Preview Update within the time period Stripe specifies, or 30 days after Stripe makes the Preview Update available, whichever is sooner.
4. Permitted Use.
The Preview Services may be used by you in the U.S. to accept bank payments from Customers that pay via Link (excluding Link Payment Method) without a change to your Link integration.
5. Disclaimers.
5.1 Reliance.
Your reliance on the Preview Services is at your own risk. Stripe is not liable for any losses, damages, or costs arising out of or relating to the accuracy (or inaccuracy) of the Preview Services, and any actions that you may take based on the Preview Services.
5.2 General Disclaimer.
Stripe provides the Preview Services “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. To the maximum extent permitted by Law, Stripe does not make any, and expressly disclaims all, express and implied warranties and statutory guarantees with respect to its performance under this Agreement, and the Preview Services.
6. Term and Termination.
These Preview Services Terms will apply from the Effective Date until the first to occur of (a) Stripe making Preview Services publicly available to all Stripe users in the Territory, (b) Stripe’s decision to stop offering the Preview Services (which it may decide to do at any time, in its absolute discretion), (c) you ceasing to use the Preview Services (which you may do at any time in accordance with Section 3.3), (d) termination of the Stripe Services Agreement, or (e) a signed agreement between Stripe and you that expressly supersedes these Preview Services Terms. In the event you cease use of the Preview Services, you must notify Stripe, and if you recommence using the Preview Services you will once again be bound by these Preview Services Terms. If Stripe makes Preview Services publicly available, your continuing use of Preview Services will be subject to such terms as Stripe may specify at such time.
7. Confidentiality.
This Preview Services Fee Schedule and the functionality of the Preview Services is Stripe’s confidential information. You may not share the content of these Preview Services Terms, including the pricing, or the functionality of the Preview Services with any third party without Stripe’s prior written permission. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you will not be in breach of this section if it discloses Stripe’s confidential information to the extent required by Law, court order or legal process, provided that you promptly inform Stripe of such requirement and cooperate with all efforts by Stripe to obtain a protective order or similar treatment.
8. General.
These Preview Services Terms are subject to the Stripe Services Agreement. To the extent these Preview Services Terms conflict with the Stripe Services Agreement, these Preview Services Terms will prevail with respect to the Preview Services. The then-current fees on the Pricing Page apply to the extent not superseded by fees in these Preview Services Terms or another existing fee schedule that applies to Stripe and you, or if you use Services in a country other than the U.S. Any modification to these Preview Services Terms must be in writing and signed by both parties. Except as modified in these Preview Services Terms, the Stripe Services Agreement and any existing fee schedule remain in full force and effect.
