Stripe Event Sponsorship Policy

Last Modified: September 27, 2024

1. Exhibit Space. If Stripe provides you with an exhibit space (“Exhibit Space”), Stripe may alter its location, size, layout, and arrangement at its discretion for operational or safety reasons.

2. Use of Exhibit Space by Sponsor. You must use your Exhibit Space only to promote your products or services. It cannot be used for any other business purposes unless explicitly allowed in the Sponsorship Prospectus. Additionally, your exhibit must not disrupt the Event or impede access to aisles, walkways, and exits.

3. Care of Exhibit Space. You are responsible for returning the Exhibit Space in a clean and undamaged condition. You will be held liable for any damage to the event premises, furnishings, or equipment, as well as for any fines incurred from improperly disposed waste.

4. Sponsor Use of Materials Provided by Stripe. If Stripe provides you with Event-related materials (“Event Materials”), you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use these Event Materials solely in relation to the Event. You must not modify the Event Materials and must comply with Stripe’s Mark Usage Terms, ensuring that your use does not disparage Stripe or imply Stripe’s endorsement of you or your products.

5. Approval of Sponsor Materials by Stripe. You must submit all materials you intend to display or distribute ("Sponsor Materials") to Stripe to review and approve. You must submit Sponsor Materials for Stripe's written approval promptly upon request, and Stripe reserves the right to deny permission for any Sponsor Materials at its discretion.

6. Consent Required for Third-Party Copyrighted Works. You must obtain all necessary rights and licenses for any copyrighted material owned by others before using it. If you fail to provide sufficient proof of authorization for any copyrighted content, Stripe may remove that content immediately.

7. Removal of Sponsor Material by Stripe. Stripe may remove or require modifications to any Sponsor Materials that violate event guidelines or could pose a potential legal risk.

8. Consent Required for Distribution of Materials Outside of Exhibit Space. You must obtain Stripe's prior written consent before distributing materials outside your designated exhibit space.

9. Audio and Video Recording by Stripe. You grant Stripe permission to take photographs and videos of your exhibit and representatives, which it may use for promotional purposes. You must also obtain any necessary rights and permissions from your representatives for this authorization.

10. Audio and Video Recording by Sponsor. You must obtain written permission from Stripe to photograph, video, or audio record during the Event.

11. No Endorsement. You must not suggest or imply that Stripe endorses you or your products. Sponsorship does not equate to an endorsement by Stripe.

12. Lost Property. Stripe is not liable for any lost or stolen items, including personal belongings, during the Event.

13. Modifications. Stripe may modify all or any part of this policy at any time by posting a revised version. The modified policy is effective upon posting. By continuing to sponsor an Event after the effective date of any modification to this policy, you agree to be bound by the modified policy. It is your responsibility to check this page regularly for modifications to this policy. Stripe last modified this policy on the date listed above.
