SAN FRANCISCO AND DUBLIN—Stripe today announced that its Crypto Onramp powers stablecoin purchases in the new Samsung Wallet Stablecoin Account. Now available for eligible users across 82 million Galaxy devices in the United States, the Samsung Wallet Stablecoin Account lets customers buy USDC using Samsung Pay, credit and debit cards, and ACH. As part of the transaction, Stripe’s Crypto Onramp handles identity verification, compliance, and fraud prevention. Samsung Pay is also now available to businesses using Stripe’s Crypto Onramp.
