Sales tax holidays

Learn more about how Stripe Tax handles tax holidays.

A sales tax holiday is a period of time when sales taxes are not collectible or payable on a specific class of purchases. Rules related to sales tax holidays apply to specific product tax codes. To ensure that Stripe calculates and collects the proper tax for each calculation, configure either the preset product tax code or a product tax code. Sales tax holidays are relevant only in the US.
