Data migrations at Stripe

Stripe can work with you to securely move sensitive payment data to and from your account.

If you need to transfer sensitive payment information to or from another payment processor, or even between Stripe accounts, we can securely handle that process for you. This greatly simplifies your integration’s security and PCI compliance.

There are three types of data migrations that we perform:

  • Importing data to Stripe from another payment processor
  • Exporting data to another payment processor from Stripe
  • Transferring payment data between Stripe accounts

For each type of data migration, we can assist only if the request includes both customer records and the associated payment data. Use the Stripe API to create, update, or retrieve customer data that doesn’t include the payment information.
