Share an update payment details link
Beta

Help customers update payment details for their subscription.

The Dashboard allows you to share links that allow customers to update their payment details for a subscription.

To share a link:

  1. Select the subscription from Dashboard > Customers > Customer Account or Dashboard > Billing > Subscriptions > Subscription Details.
  2. Click the overflow menu (
    ).
  3. Select Share an update payment details link.

This opens a modal that allows you to:

  • Email a link
  • Copy a link to directly share with a customer
  • Deactivate all existing links for this subscription

These links allow a customer to update their payment method for only the applicable subscription. The links don’t update other subscriptions or the customer’s default payment method.

Be aware of the following restrictions:

  • The links only allow a customer to update their payment details one time.
  • If unused, the links expire after 30 days.
  • This feature only supports updating to card payment methods.
  • Sharing links is only supported on active subscriptions.
