Ecosystem Curriculum Developer San Francisco

The Ecosystem team is responsible for accelerating Stripe’s capabilities and impact as a platform, both in growing a thriving network of third parties that are building their businesses with Stripe, and in the impact these partners have on the millions of businesses that use Stripe today.

The Ecosystem team is looking for someone to lead our ecosystem certification curriculum development, building the core training and infrastructure to empower individuals to support business built on Stripe.

You will:

  • Lead the development of external facing learning content for Stripe Partners.

  • Manage the lifecycle of curriculum from design through maintenance and EOL.

  • Use sound instructional design practices to assess, design, develop and evaluate learning content.

  • Develop, test and maintain relevant hands-on lab exercises.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts from around Stripe to validate course design, relevance, and accuracy.

  • Deliver beta courses, occasionally co-teach, evaluate course content effectiveness, and develop content improvement plans. 

  • Assist with the creation of certification exams for developer courses.


We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has over 10 years of experience working in the curriculum and training space, with over  5 years of experience designing and developing instructional materials in a technology environment.

  • Is experienced in managing learning content development within a highly collaborative extended team in a fast-paced technical environment.

  • Can develop courses for multiple delivery channels, with an understanding of what works best for a developer audience.

  • Has the ability to work autonomously, and operate successfully in ambiguity.

  • Has an aptitude for learning technical products and concepts quickly.

We’re a small, highly distributed team and we’re looking for candidates who are able to learn quickly and think creatively. The ideal candidate would have a strong background course development for software developers, working with API’s, and understand e-commerce platforms. Experience working with some of the languages we interact with most (Ruby, PHP, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and Java) is a big plus.   #LI-FB1
