Asia Growth Lead (Mandarin) Hong Kong Singapore

Stripe supports 25 countries today, and we’re rapidly expanding around the globe. You will be spearheading our growth efforts in HK and China; and you will do whatever it takes to make Stripe successful in the long run. You will develop Stripe’s brand in the local tech and startup community, sell to key customers, and establish and manage relationships with local partners!


  • Develop a growth strategy for the region
  • Be responsible for the go-to-market plan for key verticals
  • Identify high-potential prospective users and grow new revenue from businesses of all sizes
  • Develop strong relationships and pitch to Stripe’s customers in our key segments
  • Help shape the product roadmap and support needs based on local market insights
  • Represent the Stripe brand in the region

You might be a fit if:

  • You get a kick out of building something from scratch, thinking from first principles, working with high growth tech companies, and delivering the best results
  • You have experience in customer/client-facing role
  • You worked in consulting, VC/PE, or any other analytical role within a rapidly growing company
  • You have lived and worked extensively in Asia
  • You are willing to learn the Stripe API and the product
  • You can understand complex requirements and craft custom solutions
  • You are able to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • You are passionate about the start-up communities and new technology businesses
  • You have fluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese

Nice to haves

  • Previous experience at a growth stage Internet/software company
  • Business level verbal and written communication skills in Cantonese
  • Technical experience
  • Experience in the payments spaces
