The Stripe People Analytics team is looking for a Talent Assessment Strategist to own our talent assessment strategy and execution across the full employee lifecycle. If you’re passionate about understanding, measuring, and predicting  human behavior and performance, we want to hear from you.

You will:

  • Own Stripe’s talent assessment strategy including evaluating and prioritizing Stripe’s assessment needs, selecting/creating assessments to use, implementing and supporting those assessments, managing vendor relationships and budgets, and setting a vision for the future of talent assessment at Stripe
  • Establish and improve employee assessments across key touchpoints in the employee lifecycle, including: pre-hire assessments, high potential identification, performance measurement, and career development
  • Work closely with global teams to design and validate new assessments that predict success for complex roles
  • Stay up to date with assessment research and product innovations and work with partner teams to implement promising new approaches at Stripe through a combination of managing vendor relationships and building assessments in house
  • Collect, integrate, analyze, and interpret global assessment data including metrics related to candidate experience, test validity, attrition, adverse impact, and assessment pass rates

We are looking for someone who has: 

  • 2-4+ years’  experience in the assessment space including a track record of developing and managing assessment programs and consulting (internal or external)
  • Proven track record of using research and analytics to inform business/talent strategy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills 
  • Knowledge of the legal landscape around assessments (e.g., uniform guidelines)
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and experience navigating how to effectively use data while protecting individuals’ privacy
  • Demonstrated ability to create strong business partnerships with leaders
  • M.A./M.S. or equivalent work experience

Nice to have: 

  • Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational psychology or similar field
  • Proficiency in R, Python, or another statistics program
