Quality Lead, Operations
The right person for this role has an eye for detail, is obsessed with quality, and values efficiency. The Quality Lead, Operations will be joining a highly collaborative team that works diligently to support the broader Risk and Financial Crimes Program at Stripe. In this position, you will oversee the oversight and maintenance of a desired level of quality in our manual reviews, by means of attention to every stage of the documented process of delivery.

Develop, research, plan, and conduct quality control testing in accordance with applicable policies and procedures for Stripe’s Global Risk Program; Prepare clear and organized testing work papers to document and support work performed and conclusions reached; Draft detailed monthly QA reports encompassing the scores and trends observed, clearly articulating any issues noted and remedial actions to be taken; Draft regular reports for senior management, highlighting the results and recommendations for mitigations; Work cross-functionally with senior risk stakeholders to formulate remediation action items and ensure timely compliance with the associated action plans; Organize and prepare metrics and ongoing management reports related to the program assessments, including any issues identified, outstanding action plans, and progress against plan; Conduct quality control assessments on our third-party vendors as required; Participate in financial partner assessments and regulatory examinations as requested. Guide and lead team members regarding QA and best practices.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 5 years of experience across quality assurance and/or controls testing within the payments space; Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision; Superior writing, analytical, and communication skills; Advanced SQL abilities;
