About the team

The Product & Systems Integration (PSI) Accounting team leads the integration of accounting requirements for Stripe’s product roadmap, i.e. new products and features or changes to existing products and features, including the implementation of these requirements within Stripe’s financial systems. • Act as the lead Accounting partner to our Product and Systems teams to ensure all accounting requirements are identified, planned for and implemented for Stripe’s product launches
  • Partner with all Accounting teams to manage the end-to-end definition and execution of Accounting requirements for product launches and keeping all stakeholders abreast of the progress
  • Support the integration of the product roadmap and setup of financial systems through the entire product/feature introduction lifecycle: feasibility through scoping, requirements definition through specification, testing, launch, and change management in transitioning to new processes
  • Own an extensive portfolio of new product launches ensuring that Accounting requirements are met while enabling our Product teams to move fast
  • Synthesize product launch strategies and quickly identify impact and requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships across Product, Finance, and Systems teams to increase collaboration and productivity
  • Effectively communicate and function to identify where resources or appropriate management attention/support is needed
  • Communicate the overall portfolio health through periodic status updates
  • Build processes and methodology to create predictable and repeatable launch mechanisms, ensure that best practices are identified, implemented, shared and followed, and identify metrics that help us drive action to control financial and operational risks related to new launches
