Product Manager, Product & Partner Platform

Product and Partner Platform is the team enabling Stripe’s expansion of products and growth of users; our team is responsible for developer, partner and end user experience across Stripe.

Product and Partner Platform builds the systems that support Stripe’s API, Dashboard, Design Systems, Developer Tooling, Documentation, Tooling, Partner Onboarding, and more. Like Stripe, we’re scaling in every dimension, and we are adding product and engineering roles across all of our teams. But more importantly than just scaling, our team is responsible for being the taste makers of Stripe’s developer and user experiences. We’re looking for people passionate about distilling complexity across a breadth of problems, and while it’s often written as a cliche, we mean it when we say we’re out to lead the industry with what we do.

We’re looking for a seasoned product manager to build the foundation that enables businesses to reliably access and experience the value of Stripe via Dashboard and other non-API interfaces. The Dashboard is Stripe’s UI that enables users to get started with, configure, and use Stripe products. Millions of people use the Dashboard to manage their revenue, help their customers, and generally operate their internet businesses, and for many of these businesses, the dashboard is Stripe. These businesses are diverse and vary by size, industry, geography, and business model. As Stripe grows we expect even more diversity in the people who we serve and the ways in which we serve them.

As a Product Manager on the team, you will lead product platform initiatives to help businesses (from small startups to large enterprises) get the most out of the Dashboard. This means building the “operating system” (such as dashboard information architecture, notifications and product activation/promotion systems) through which our users access Stripe and empower internal product teams and external partners to build high quality experiences for our users.

You will:

  • Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for platform experiences throughout dashboard
  • Lead collaboration between engineering, design, data science, user research and business-facing product teams at Stripe
  • Deeply understand our users and how Stripe can best help them grow and manage their business

You may be a good fit if you have:

  • 5+ years Product Management or Founder experience
  • A knack for system thinking and an understanding in how to build platform products that empower others to build amazing experiences
  • Created best-in-class interfaces that enable users to navigate complexity
  • Experience defining and driving product and go-to-market strategies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
  • You’re a creative product thinker who loves collaborating across the company with engineering, analytics, marketing, design and sales
  • You do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful whether that means writing a QA plan or hunting down the root cause of a user’s frustration
