We are looking for an experienced and passionate insights analyst with a deep understanding of performance marketing metrics and reporting standards to help support our ongoing growth. As a trusted advisor to the performance marketing team, you will build the future of media analytics, including creating dashboards and reports on media channel performance across paid, owned, and earned. A successful track record of working with paid media data, including expertise in media data aggregation and media KPIs is essential. 

You will:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the performance marketing team and leadership on what drives marketing performance and provide guidance on how to accelerate growth for Stripe
  • Bring media data together and package it up to make it usable across the Data Science, Insights & Analytics, and Performance Marketing teams
  • Prioritize to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work product where it will have the highest impact
  • Share findings in a concise and persuasive manner. Distill clear and actionable insights from sophisticated analyses for easy consumption by non-technical audiences
  • Develop forecasts for media performance, including developing basic pacing and forecasting algorithms
  • Partner with media buyers to make ROI driven budget allocation decisions across key segments
  • Compile clear reports for leadership showing the impact of media on key business metrics
  • Lead ad-hoc analytical efforts in an unstructured environment to identify key insights that can impact efficiency, scalability, and decision making across the performance marketing team
  • Collaborate with Finance and DS to deliver the data inputs and insights necessary to inform our financial model and long-range paid media plan for Stripe

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 4+ years of experience working with performance marketing data, with experience in paid media analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree. Degrees in quantitative areas (Stats, Math, CS, etc.) and/or advanced degrees a plus
  • Consistent track record of high performance and effective collaboration within complex organizations
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to successfully navigate and influence others
  • Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations and distill findings in a way that non-technical and non-marketing teammates will understand
  • Proven ability to prioritize between the short-term demands and long-term needs of an acquisition organization
  • Track record of delivering impact - can both develop, but also help implement, solutions to ambitious problems
  • Advanced SQL coding experience
  • Experience working with data management and visualization tools
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and in-person presentation skills
