Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions
of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious
startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and
accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the
GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That
means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy
within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your
career.
We see more and more payment methods coming to the Buy Now Pay Later,
Wallets, Bank Debits and Bank Transfers space. These provide more
benefits to merchants and enable functionality that was not present
before. These innovations are only increasing as new payment methods
come to market each month.
The Local Payment Methods (LPM) TechOps team is a key component to
Stripe’s global strategy in the US market. We are focused on increasing
the coverage and adoption of locally preferred payment methods for all
our users. Our mission is to reduce the barriers faced by large and
emerging businesses around the world by abstracting away the
complexities of payments.
Technical Operations roles in LPM are a dynamic and key component of
Stripe's success. Focused on financial partner integrations and funds
flow expansion, we sit at the intersection of product/platform engineers
and financial partners, connecting them to ensure that everyone thrives
and nothing is lost in translation. We partner closely with various
other payment and infrastructure engineering teams to deeply understand
and tackle the technical and real-world challenges of Stripe’s payments
stack.
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be
considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are
encouraged to apply.
Technical Operations roles are one part coding and one part managing
projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in both, but
successful candidates may index more highly in one or the other. The
preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Stripe does not yet include pay ranges in job postings in every country. Stripe strongly values pay transparency and is working toward pay transparency globally in 2023.
