At Stripe, our new hire onboarding program provides a unique opportunity to educate new Stripes on Stripe’s vision, product, operating processes and place in the wider industry. First impressions matter, and you will be a key part in leading the operations for a program that sets new Stripes up for success. As the Global Onboarding Operations Lead, you will oversee a team of global new hire onboarding coordinators and work in close partnership with the Employee Impact and Experience team who oversees the onboarding content and programming.

You will:

  • Oversee and help execute the program’s global operational logistics in partnership with the Onboarding Program Manager (on the Employee Impact and Experience team) and in-region onboarding coordinators
  • Provide positive experiences as you support and partner with a variety of users across Stripe: teammates, partners on other teams, facilitators, and learners
  • Evaluate and improve the efficiency of the program’s current tools, processes, and partnerships; and help build new workflows for scale
  • Act as decision maker for more complex requests escalated from in-region coordinators
  • Facilitate portions of the onboarding program live, along with other volunteers and cross-functional teammates
  • Provide operational design and implement changes as the onboarding programs evolve throughout the year 
  • Support the onboarding program manager in updating resources and content for the program as we consistently iterate for maximum efficacy and impact
  • Support the program manager in metrics tracking and feedback review to synthesize themes and areas of improvement 

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years work experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
  • Ability to be a team player; adept at working with multiple stakeholders at any given time
  • Incredible organizational skills; superb attention to detail
  • Operational mindset with the ability to set the program’s long range operational plans and translate them into functional daily processes
  • Ability to shift priorities based on the current business needs and to make progress in a timely manner on multiple, concurrent projects
  • Ability to build and document tools, processes, workflows, and guides for stakeholders
  • Intermediate to advanced Mac OS and Google suite skills (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with some of our core tools: MailMerge, Workday, Intellum
  • Experience working with an employee training or educational program
