Stripe is investing in building out its worldwide Executive Insights team to actively engage customers to help envision and define strategies to drive growth, enter new markets, create new business models, and improve operational performance leveraging Stripe’s platform and capabilities. The Executive Insights team is responsible for engaging and advising senior leaders from our customers on ways they can grow their business and deliver additional value to their customers and partners leveraging Stripe. Our Executive Insights team combines their practical experience in business transformation with learnings from Stripe customers, to align with executives on key priorities and prescribe solutions to meet their objectives such as: entering new markets, creating new business models, and driving operational efficiency using Stripe’s capabilities. This team builds and develops trusted advisor relationships with customers, partners, and internally across Stripe. The team’s experience and thought leadership is shared through direct customer interactions.

You Will:

  • Develop and execute Stripe’s global Executive Insights strategy and program in alignment with Stripe’s global priorities across sales and marketing
  • Hire and lead a high-performing team of Executive Strategists working with our sales and marketing team and engaging our customers to drive industry thought leadership, executive alignment, vision workshops, and customer roadmaps aligned with Stripe capabilities
  • Cultivate a team culture that includes high ownership, customer-first focus, fast-paced, high integrity, and an optimistic and positive environment
  • Develop executive engagement model, Vision Workshop framework, executive readout, and business case content, as well as, systems to scale and measure
  • Cultivate executive relationships with C-levels within our customers and partners
  • Work with sales and marketing on target customers, executive engagement, EBCs, and value measurement aligned with customers’ needs, new market opportunities/requirements, and the competitive landscape
  • Develop business and strategic cases for new service offerings and drive consensus among decision-makers
  • Work across teams at Stripe to develop executive messaging, content, and customer success stories and references
  • Report out on a regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence to all key stakeholders, with a strong analytical approach and crisp communication style

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
  • Management consulting from a top tier consulting firm with exposure to financial services and cloud technologies or a customer-facing business strategy manager with a leading payments or technology vendor
  • Executive / leadership experience working on digital transformation projects and/or enterprise software deployments preferred
  • MBA from a top tier institution is preferred
  • Highly adept at navigating cross functional business processes and Industry trends (Significant experience in a major industry (FSI, Telco, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.) is preferred
  • Successful track record of developing and growing strategic relationships at the executive level
  • Strong leadership experience, including building out teams and creating high-performance, positive team cultures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with deep experience presenting to senior management. Demonstrated ability to negotiate high-value deals with a C-level audience and positively influence the outcome
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company with the ability to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly
  • Excellent presentation skills including public speaking, meeting facilitation, and white boarding
  • Deep customer connections in Global 2000 companies
  • High level of executive gravitas with a humble demeanor
  • Exemplary analytical and financial acumen
  • Enjoy working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
  • Willing to travel up to 40-60% of the time
