We are looking for an experienced engineering manager with a strong background or interest in building surprisingly great user-facing product experiences. You’ll be comfortable managing and leading people through the ambiguity of early product development, collaborating with a broad set of stakeholders and partners, and executing well to deliver results.

You will:

  • Recruit, hire, scale, and develop an amazing team of engineers
  • Work with the team engineers, product management, and group leadership to define the team’s vision and roadmap
  • Iterate rapidly on features, tooling, and processes as we launch the first versions of new products
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, account management, support, and other teams across Stripe
  • Support the engineering team in achieving a high level of technical quality, reliability, and ease-of-use
  • Manage processes to help the team do its best work and engage effectively with the rest of Stripe
  • Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Stripe’s engineering management team
  • Have at least 4 years of engineering management experience
