In this role, the Centralized HR Operations Manager will be responsible for standing up the Tier 1 HR Operations function, building, defining and enhancing our HR programs and processes to create an optimal Stripe experience.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a Tier 1 Shared Services model to support the rapid growth of Stripes’ global population.  In addition, the Centralized HR Operations Manager will be the driver of Knowledge Management (KM), identifying easy to improve Tier 0 (or self service support) within our self-service hub. The manager will identify areas of improvement and work with other teams to get Knowledge put in place.

You will:

  • Build, lead, grow, and develop the Centralized HR Operations (Tier 1)  team, building the function to support People Partners, Global Mobility, Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, Policy and Compliance
  • Develop and implement an HR Shared Services model to centralize HR Operations functions and provide efficient, friendly support to our growing team
  • Manage all aspects of repeatable HR compliance, reporting and reconciliation activities, including I-9/E-Verify and EEO-1, and others as required by People teams
  • Maintain data integrity and documentation in personnel files and HR systems through regular audits and testing
  • Drive for proper routing of Tier 2 /3 support tickets by building strong relationships and ensuring adequate documentation for Tier 1 support resources
  • Identify opportunities for measurement and compile reports on performance, usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities. This includes search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production
  • Build recommendations for the development of new Knowledge areas to enhance People Support
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the company to influence, drive, & maintain a consistent approach to employee support content 
  • Own the day to day administration responsibilities within the Knowledge management platform, such as basic configuration and page design
  • Facilitate / Collaborate with KM Working Group to enable the most effective cross organization collaboration 
  • Work closely with our People Systems team to continually iterate on and improve our core HR tools

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of HR experience in an HR Operations role or comparable Operations Experience; at least 2+ years of people management experience
  • Experience developing, standing up and supporting an HR Shared Services function in a high-growth organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience partnering across all levels of the organization
  • A demonstrated ability to build policies, programs and procedures in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and extremely fun environment
  • Experience with Workday, HR Ticketing / Knowledge Management systems

Nice to haves:

  • PHR or SPRH certification
  • Experience with management consulting or other roles directly supporting internal or external clients
