Processing digital wallet payments

Learn how to collect payments through digital wallets and one-click pay.

When you support digital wallets, your customers can use their online account details to pay with their mobile device or by clicking a button on your site. It’s both secure and convenient for the customer, as no card details are provided.

    Integrating the button

Supporting a digital wallet involves adding a payment button to your website or mobile application. Stripe provides a UI element called the Payment Request Button to help you quickly add support for Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Microsoft Pay. Some wallets may provide their own buttons. See our individual wallet guides for details.

    Completing the payment

Some digital wallets use card details, but others are linked to a bank account. Either way, the wallet payment method style protects you from handling or tokenizing sensitive payment information. The Payment Intents API and Charges API both support digital wallets.
