Processing Digital Wallet Payments

Learn how to collect payments through digital wallets and one-click pay.

When you support digital wallets, your customers can use their online account details to pay using a button on your site. It’s both secure and convenient for the customer, as no card details are provided.

    Integrating the button

Supporting a digital wallet involves adding a payment button to your website or mobile application. Stripe provides a UI element called the Payment Request Button to help you quickly add support for Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Microsoft Pay. Other wallet payment methods may provide their own buttons. See our individual payment method guides for details.

    Completing the payment

Payments made with digital wallets use credit card details. Processing them is much like processing a card on your server, varying slightly depending on which underlying payments API you use, the Charges API or Payment Intents API.
