Data Availability

Learn about API data availability and how to access data.

Data availability varies by API object and your account pricing. Accounts on Cards Cost+ pricing created after January 1, 2023 will have the following transaction data available through Stripe’s APIs and Dashboard search for 18 months after the transaction is created:

  • Payment Intents
  • Charges
  • Balance transactions
  • Refunds
  • Disputes

Download historical transaction data that’s no longer available through the API or Dashboard search from the Reports Dashboard or Reporting API. Historical data is also available through our reporting products, such as Stripe Data Pipeline and Stripe Sigma.

To issue refunds on payments older than 18 months, use unlinked refunds, which can be enabled for your account by emailing data-availability@stripe.com.
