Dashboard Overview

Learn about using the Dashboard to operate your Stripe account.

The Stripe Dashboard is a feature-rich user interface for you to operate and configure your Stripe account. You can use it to manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes, monitor your integration, and more.

The Dashboard home page provides useful at-a-glance information about the activity on your account. A wide range of analytics and real-time charts provide insight into the performance of your business. The Dashboard also shows recent activity that may require you to take action, such as unanswered disputes or identity verifications.

    Creating reports and searches

All of your transactional data can be filtered and exported as reports in CSV format. You can also download a monthly report or QuickBooks-formatted export from your account’s business settings.

The Dashboard search can be used to find specific information using search terms and operators (e.g., find a specific payment using the customer’s email address or the last four digits of their card number) to narrow down the number of results.

For more advanced searches and reporting, Stripe Sigma makes all of your data available as an interactive SQL environment in the Dashboard. You can write queries to generate highly customized reports without needing to use additional reporting tools.

    Team member access

You can invite team members to access your Dashboard and help manage your business. Each team member can have different privileges that restrict the information they can see or actions they can take. For instance, you can allow members of your customer service team to access your Dashboard for the purpose of handling refunds and dispute responses.

    Monitoring your integration

The Developers section of the Dashboard provides you with useful information about the performance and health of your integration. You can view your API and webhook usage with real time charts, upgrade your API version, and review API errors that can be filtered by endpoint or type.

    The Developer section.

Stripe logs every successful or failed request made using your API keys. Each log contains details about the original request, whether it succeeded or failed, the response from Stripe, and a reference to any related API resources.

Every event that takes place on your account can also be reviewed in the Dashboard. Events represent a change to an API resource (e.g., a Charge object is created or updated), and contains its current information.
